The antenna that was used for both the transmitter and receiver.
The
antenna was 120 foot (36.57m) in height and fed into the
second floor of the tower which was the wireless
room. This antenna was supplied by the Marconi Radio Company and appears to be
sloping at 30 degrees from east to west and secured above the ground on the
south side of Banba’s Tower as shown in the picture above.
The guy wires connected to the top of the mast show signs that they have
insulators part way down.
